In terms of weight, the average weight of BIPV products is only 30% of the weight of traditional roof-type components, which is suitable for installation on the roof of buildings with lower load capacity and has less impact on the weight pressure of buildings.

The application is also more diversified. Compared with traditional roof-type components, BIPV products are more installed on the roof of flat buildings. BIPV products can be applied to many different building scenes through the conversion of product design. For example, inclined roofs, tile roofs, high-rise exterior walls, parking sheds and highway sound barriers, etc.

Due to the safety factor requirements of many buildings, the fire resistance factor of BIPV products is usually higher than that of traditional roof-type components, which indirectly improves the fire resistance of buildings and has the effect of heat insulation and warmth preservation.

Generally speaking, BPV products vary in size due to different versions, which also leads to uneven wattage, ranging from 30 W to 325W. However, the average wattage is still lower than that of traditional roof-type components.
