Automation Solution for Building Integrated PV Modules

The apperance of BIPV modules is aesthetically pleasing, and they are more visually appealing compared to traditional rooftop modules. It can even be integrated into overall urban planning for urban aesthetic design, while also supporting green building initiatives and achieving zero carbon emissions in cities. The primary clients consist of business enterprise and users with high incomes. The shape and color of modules can be customized to match the building itself.

BIPV modules averagely have only 30% of the traditional roof modules' weight, making them suitable for installation on the roofs of buildings with low load capacity, and have less pressure on the building.

Through the conversion of the product design, BIPV modules can be applied to sloping roofs, tiled roofs, high-rise exteriors, parking sheds and highway shading walls, etc.

Due to the safety requirements of many buildings, the fireproof level of BIPV modules is often higher than that of traditional roof modules. This indirectly improves the fireproof performance of buildings, and provides heat insulation at the same time.

In general, due to the size difference, there is a power difference between BIPV modules. Small to 30w, large to 325w, different BIPV modules are available in the market, but the average wattage is still relatively lower comparing to the traditional modules. Additionaly, if the module is painted with special colour, it may also cause a power efficiency decline.

BIPV modules are more expensive than traditional rooftop modules, with an average price of about 2~4 CNY per watt.With different designs, the price gap can be even larger.
